Pro Bowl

The Pro Bowl was on 1/28/2018 at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida. Every year the best players in the NFL come together to represent their conferences in the Pro Bowl. There’s only one day a year where you get to see guys like Tom Brady, Philip Rivers, and Drew Brees on the same roster.

This time around the AFC prevailed in a 24 to 23 victory over the NFC.

Grammy Awards

The Grammy Awards took place on 1/28/2018. The Grammys were broadcast from New York City For the first time in over a decade. The event was held at Madison Square Garden. Late night talk-show host James Corden shared the stage with the biggest names in music. This includes artists like Kendrick Lamar, Bruno Mars, Cardi B, Lady Gaga, Pink and many more.

Here are some of the notable details of the night:

  • Bruno Mars swept all of the top categories, winning album of the year, record of the year and song of the year.
  • Kendrick Lamar dominated all rap categories taking home the Grammys for best rap performance, best rap song, and best rap album.

Sportsman Channel Now Available on DirecTV Now

For cord cutters who love shooting, hunting and fishing, DirecTV Now became the first live streaming service to add the Sportsman Channel to their service.


State Of The Union Address

Donald Trump spoke to the Nation on Tuesday, January 30th in the State Of The Union Address. 45 million people tuned in as the President talked about topics ranging from the economy, to foreign policy, to immigration, to infrastructure.

After the State Of The Union Address, Jimmy Kimmel welcomed adult film star, Stormy Daniels, as a guest to talk about recent revelations about her and Donald Trump. Following the birth of his son, Trump allegedly had an affair with Daniels. During the interview Daniels brought forth a printed denial of the affair with her forged signature. Overall the interview didn’t bring anything new to light.
