Only 2 devices can be streaming simultaneously and there is no DVR functionality. DirecTV NOW can be accessed by several compatible devices such as Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Chromecast, and others. It can also be access via devices such as smartphones and tablets. Currently, there is zero data usage for AT&T customers.
Hulu is an online streaming service that was started by the largest media companies such as ABC/Disney, Fox, and NBC. Shows can be accessed through the Hulu website and/or several other devices such as smartphones, tablets, gaming consoles, and set-top boxes such as Roku and Google Chromecast.
Hulu offers a wide range of plans. Basic service starts at $7.99/mo and there is also the more advanced Hulu Live which starts at $39.99. The basic services allow you stream on-demand programming and the more advanced services allow you to stream live broadcast network television (restrictions apply based on location.)
