The NCTC (National Cable Television Cooperative) has almost 9 million basic cable subscribers and they have recently announced a new partnership with CuriosityStream. CuriosityStream was initially launched by Discovery Communications founder John Hendricks and is best known for its award-winning streaming and on-demand documentary content.

CuriosityStream focuses on real science with experts like Stephen Hawking and David Attenborough and their features run the gamut from history to nature, health and more. Offering over 1500 features, CuriosityStream is available in over 190 countries and can be accessed on a variety of different devices.

The NCTC is a not for profit corporation based in Kansas. The new agreement will allow NCTC member operators access to all 1500 documentaries available through CuriosityStream – with no commercial interruptions. NCTC aims to maximize current and future profit opportunities for its member companies and this new initiative is just one added advantage that they offer.
