Watch UFC 242 PPV Online Only with ESPN Plus
This weekends UFC Lightweight pay-per-view match between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Dustin Poirier is a bit unusual in a couple of ways…first is that it is only available through the ESPN Plus streaming service and second is that it is pretty early for a UFC event.
Earlier Start Time – Read This First
Before you go out and plan a party to watch UFC 242, you gotta know this. The main event of Khabib vs Poirier starts early, and by early I mean VERY EARLY! 2pm EST (1pm CST) is the main card which means the early prelims are very, very early at 10:15am EST and the prelims are at Noon EST. Usually, UFC PPV matches aren’t until 9pm so this is quite a deviation from standard fight times – be prepared!
UFC 242 Is Only on ESPN Plus
ESPN Plus is making a subscriber push going into this fall as the Disney + launch comes closer. ESPN’s parent company, Disney, is try to build up the value of ESPN plus, not a a full cord-cutting service, but as a good, solid supplemental service for ESPN products including UFC PPV fights, 30 for 30 programming as well as live sports including MLB, college football games and more. At only $4.99/mo, it’s a pretty good deal for UFC fans.
