How to Watch Archer Online

Archer is a hilarious adult animated spy comedy show from FXX, which has been on the air since 2009. It’s gained a lot of popularity since then, and for good reason – following the exploits of Sterling Archer, “the world’s greatest secret agent” (According to himself) is a great way to pass the time and have quite a few laughs in the process.

Any fan of the show already knows the premise, though – what you’re probably way more interested in is where you can start watching the show online, safely, cheaply, and legally.

There’s a large array of online Archer viewing options, but the best one is definitely online, on-demand streaming like you’d typically see from Netflix and Hulu. To that end, both Netflix and Hulu offer quite a large amount of Archer content at the moment!

Netflix has 3 monthly plans available, and it has the first 7 seasons of Archer. The plans are as follows: “Basic Plan” ($7.99/month, no HD, 1 device streaming at a time), “Standard Plan” ($9.99/month, HD available, 2 devices streaming at a time) and their “Premium Plan” ($11.99/month, Ultra HD available, 4 devices streaming at a time).

Hulu also has the first 7 seasons available, but they only have two monthly plans – an ad lite subscription for $7.99/month, and an ad-free subscription for $11.99/month.

Stream Archer On Demand

I’ll briefly go over the on-demand services I just described again below, but if you’ve already caught the first 7 seasons, you might want to actually watch the latest episodes – if so, I’ve got you covered there, too. I’m also going to go over the online live TV streaming services  (Basically, cable without the cable!).

  • Hulu: Hulu offers the first 7 seasons of archer, with a $7.99/month ad-lite subscription and a $11.99/month ad-free subscription.
  • Netflix: Netflix also has the first 7 seasons available, but they have 3 monthly payment plans instead of 2 – all of which are ad-free. $7.99/month (no HD, 1 device streaming limit), $9.99/month (HD, 2 device streaming limit), $11.99/month (Ultra HD, 4 device streaming limit).
  • Amazon Prime Instant Video: Amazon Prime Instant Video does not offer any Archer content on demand at the moment.
  • Sling TV: You can catch the latest episodes of Archer live (And any reruns) with Sling TV’s “Sling Blue” package, which currently costs $25/month, and offers both the FXX and FX channels. It also has Cloud DVR functionality.
  • PlayStation Vue: PlayStation Vue’s cheapest package offers the FXX and FX channels as well, coming in at $29.99 a month, also with Cloud DVR functionality.
  • DirecTV Now: DirecTV Now is the priciest option out of the three services I’ve now mentioned, with their cheapest package costing $35/month. That package will get you both the FX and FXX channels, but you won’t get access to any Cloud DVR (None of DirecTV Now’s packages have Cloud DVR yet, though they say they want to add it in the future).

Watch individual Archer Episodes

If none of the options I listed above sound like your cup of tea, you might be the type of person who just prefers to outright buy their favorite episodes and seasons to watch whenever you’d like – and that’s perfectly reasonable.

If so, you’re still in luck. There are quite a few places to buy the first 8 seasons of Archer – here they are.
