fuboTV (It’s Not Just For Sports Fans)

fuboTV was the go-to source for soccer around the world. Slowly other live sporting events including the NFL, MLB, and NBA joined the channel. New updates now also include channels previously available only through the cable networks.  The channels available include some of the more popular entertainment channels  (think HGTV and Food Network).

The primary focus still remains focused on sports programming and you can watch and record many live games. In fact, while entertainment programming is now available in various packages, the DVR functionality is the true winner.

If your interest is purely on entertainment, I’d suggest you look elsewhere as services like SlingTV, DirecTV Now and PlayStation Vue have better functionality. This could change in the future as fuboTV has recently inked deals with several other studios. Channel language packages are varied and include fubo Latino and fubo Portuguese at the current time.

fuboTV DVR and Apps

With built-in DVR functionality, you never have to worry about missing your favorite game. This functionality is available across a range of streaming devices including Android and Apple iOS. Roku is also supported which is an added bonus.

The cloud DVR is especially intelligent and if you start recording a program already in progress, it will automatically record from the start of the program. Recorded shows are available through the devices mentioned and also through the fuboTV website. With 30hrs of storage offered on the base package, you should be able to capture all of the key games. If you need it though, an extra $9.99/mo upgrades your storage capacity to 500GB!

How Much Is It And What Do You Get?

Out of its beta stage now, fuboTV Premier aims to be your go-to destination. Membership runs for $44.99/mo with the first month at $19.99. While sports is still the primary focus, this will change over time. fuboTV is gradually building a platform to offer entertainment and news in addition to games and movies. So what do get for that $45 a month? How about we investigate.
